Child - Like Faith

If you are a parent or you deal with small children, you are given a lesson in child-like faith everyday. Little children believe whatever you tell them, they don’t forget what you say and they look for the manifestation of what you promised.

God has many promises in His word for all of His children. Those who are obedient to His word are promised blessings in this life and in the life to come. Unfortunately, many of us seem to doubt His promises because the blessings never seem to be manifested in our lives. Instead of living like children with a Daddy who owns everything – we live like children with a Daddy who has nothing. 

Promise a little child a candy today and when they see you a week later, the first words out of their mouth are “Where is the candy you promised me?” They believed you when you said it, time did not erase the fact that you promised it and now that they are seeing you, they expect to get it. 

We need to become as little children and totally trust God that what He says He will do. His blessings are available to all of us but they can only be recognized and received through child-like faith.
