Money Answers All Things (Ecclesiastes 10: 19)
Under the direction of Moses, the night before the children of Israel left Egypt, they asked the Egyptians for clothes and articles that were made of gold and silver. The Lord had caused the Egyptians to treat the Israelites with favor and they gave them what they asked for. As a result, the people of Israel left Egypt with many expensive things (Exodus 12).
With all of the gold and silver they had received from the Egyptians, during their journey through the wilderness, it was of no value to them as there was nothing to spend money on. MONEY ONLY ANSWERS ALL THINGS WHEN THERE IS SOMETHING TO BUY.
During hurricanes Frances and Jeanne, we experienced a similar type of wilderness experience. People had money but there was nothing to buy – not even a cold glass of water.
Money is not a deliverer, God is the deliverer and whether you have money or not, He provides – as He did for the children of Israel during their wilderness experience.
