Don’t let what you have acquired define who you are because if you lose what you have acquired you will also lose your identity.
Look into the mirror. Stare into the face of imperfection then go out into the world and be as tolerant of the imperfections of others as you want them to be of yours.
If you believe in the God of the Bible, how is it that you work for or show up and put in time for 40 years to get a pension from a government or company that may go broke before, during or after your retirement... which you may not live to see.... but have no faith in The God of the Bible and Creator of all, to meet your daily needs.
The reality of Christianity is that your true struggles within begin as soon as you get saved. Why? Now, instead of swimming with the tide and conforming to the lifestyles of the world, you are going against the grain and being transformed and renewed in your mind by the Word of God.
Love and hatred, good and evil, are qualities inherent in each individual on this earth and the quality we feed or practice the most is the one that will reign supreme.
Some people can pretend to love and be good, but at the most inopportune time, their true nature will be revealed...and even if the world does not find out who they are, the persons closest to them will. As Christians, we cannot speak and do one thing in public and do the opposite in private and expect that God will bless us.
You cannot follow God and support things that are contrary to His Word.
If I'm hungry but only talk about food and never eat...I will never get full. If I only talk about the Word of God but don't study it and live it...I will always be empty.
