The law of the land directs us socially. If we are not law abiding citizens, we are taken out of society and set apart with the other citizens who choose not to abide by the law of the land. It is the same with God. He has established laws for us to live by and if we choose not to abide by His laws, when Christ returns to establish His Kingdom upon the earth, we will not be allowed to be a part of His kingdom. It’s as simple as that.

God allows his sun to rise on the just and the unjust so who are we to stand in judgment of anyone?
Many times, people compare themselves to others and because they may not be committing the same sin as another person, they believe that they are in a better position spiritually. What we must remember is that we all have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3: 23) so it is pointless comparing ourselves with each other, as that would simply be comparing imperfection with imperfection.
Always let the word of God be the standard by which you live your life because it is the only sure way of getting into heaven. When we look through our natural eyes, we see with very limited vision and sometimes, stand in the way of progress. When we look through spiritually opened eyes, we see with limitless vision and follow progress – no matter what stands in our way.
