2011 is just about over. 2012 is almost here. Some will miss its arrival by just one second. Some will only live long enough to see it as it breaks across the dawn. Others will only live long enough to survive its first full day. For those of us who survive the first day, we must remember that as with all things, only God knows what will take place from there on.
Don’t take anything for granted.
Don’t think that because you survived the first day of the New Year that you’re going to make it through to the next. Only God knows all things. With that in mind, entrust your every breathing moment to HIM and allow HIM to guide you in everything – no matter how simple it may seem to you.
We’ve all made at least one mistake this past year. Don’t look back over the past year with regret – look back to learn and move forward.
We’ve all also experienced success in at least one thing this past year, no matter how insignificant it may have seemed. Whatever you do, don’t let yesterday’s success lock you in the past. Be grateful for it but always look ahead and move forward. Other than that, you will get locked in the past and the only thing that will free you from its chains is death.
May you allow the all seeing, all knowing immortal, invisible only wise God (1 Timothy 1: 17) to be your guide each day of your life.
Happy New Year!
