The Imminence of Death

Death is on the horizon for everyone -

None can escape it

Some long for it

Many wish they could avoid it

Most do not prepare for it

All of us will have to face it.

Conception - the beginning of life -

Is also the beginning of our journey down the pathway of death.

We die daily until death swallows us up

Leaving family, friends and loved ones behind to mourn,

As we begin another phase of our life's journey - in eternity.
