Unconditional Love

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE- LUKE 10: 30-36 (NIRV)

Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho. Robbers attacked him. They stripped off his clothes and beat him. Then they went away, leaving him almost dead. A priest happened to be going down that same road. When he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.  A Levite also came by. When he saw the man, he passed by on the other side too.

DO YOU HAVE RESPECT AND LOVE FOR ALL PEOPLE CREATED BY GOD OR IS YOUR LOVE FOR HUMANITY BASED ON RACE, NATIONALITY, COLOR, SOCIETAL STATUS, PERSONAL PREFERENCES OR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS? ARE YOU ONE OF THE TWO MENTIONED ABOVE?

But a Samaritan came to the place where the man was. When he saw the man, he felt sorry for him. He went to him, poured olive oil and wine on his wounds and bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey. He took him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins. He gave them to the owner of the inn. ‘Take care of him,’ he said. ‘When I return, I will pay you back for any extra expense you may have.’ “Which of the three do you think was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by robbers?”

IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THE SAMARITAN WAS A GOOD NEIGHBOUR. CAN YOU HONESTLY SAY THAT IF YOU HOLD A PARTICULAR NATIONALITY AT A SUBSTANDARD LEVEL IN COMPARISON TO YOURSELF AND ONE OF THEM WAS DESPERATELY IN NEED OF HELP, THAT YOU WOULD SEE THEM AS YOU SEE YOURSELF- ONE OF GOD’S CREATIONS – AND TREAT THEM THE WAY YOU WOULD WANT SOMEONE TO TREAT YOU IF YOU FOUND YOURSELF IN THAT SAME PREDICAMENT?

JESUS SHOWED UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOR EACH OF US AND IF WE CLAIM TO BE A PART OF HIS FAMILY, WE MUST SHOW UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOR EACH OTHER.

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. (1 John 4: 12, NIV)

Sin - Origin and Activation

What does the Bible say about Sin? Is it something that affects us from without or within?

Mark 7:21-22 (KJV)
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

In the Garden of Eden, sin originated in the mind of Eve through the suggestions of the serpent and was developed when she chose to act upon her desire and disobeyed God’s law.

Even though Eve sinned, the activation of the effects and punishment for sin did not take effect until   Adam disobeyed the law because he got his instructions directly from God while Eve received her instructions about God’s law from Adam. (Genesis 3)

Can anyone make another person sin? No, we sin by choice.

ARE YOU WORSHIPING GOD HIS WAY OR YOUR WAY?

ARE YOU WORSHIPING GOD HIS WAY OR YOUR WAY?

Mark 7:6-8 (KJV)
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

IF YOU WORSHIP GOD IN A WAY OTHER THAN WHAT HE HAS ESTABLISHED IN HIS WORD, YOU'RE NOT WORSHIPING THE GOD OF THE BIBLE.

The Essence of True Love

The Essence of True Love

So many people claim to love the Lord but the verbal expressions of their love are not physically manifested in actions and attitude towards others.

What Does The Bible Say About Love?

Leviticus 19:17-18 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

17 “Don’t secretly hate any of your neighbors. But tell them openly what they have done wrong so that you will not be just as guilty of sin as they are. 18 Forget about the wrong things people do to you. Don’t try to get even. Love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.

Mark 12:29-31 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

29 Jesus answered, “The most important command is this: ‘People of Israel, listen! The Lord our God is the only Lord. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.31 The second most important command is this: ‘Love your neighbor the same as you love yourself. These two commands are the most important.
