THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WILL BE RENEWED
Isaiah 65: 17a (NIV)
"Behold, I (God) will create new heavens and a new earth
The way things are now EMOTIONALLY, PHYSICALLY and POLITICALLY are not the way they will be in the new heavens and the new earth.
1) EMOTIONAL CHANGES
Revelation 21: 4
…there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
2) PHYSICAL CHANGES
a) Marriage and Death
Luke 20: 34- 36 (NIV)
34) And Jesus answering said unto them, the children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
35) But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36) Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection
b) Memory
We will have no memory of this present earth.

The former things will not be remembered nor will they come to mind
c) Heaven and Earth
The heaven and earth as we know it emotionally, physically and politically, will no longer exist.
Revelation 21:1 (NIV)
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
3) POLITICAL CHANGES
God will be the Supreme Ruler of the earth.
Revelation 21: 3
And I (John) heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
THE NEW HEAVEN AND THE NEW EARTH WILL BE FOREVER
Isaiah 66:22 (NIV)
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD
God is everlasting which means that He will always be. Therefore, since the new heavens and the new earth which He will make shall remain before Him, they too will be everlasting.
Psalm 90: 2
…even from everlasting to everlasting thou art God.
Psalm 145: 13
Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
THE SAINTS WILL REIGN ON EARTH ON THE EARTH
Revelation 5: 9b - 10
9b) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10)And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
OUR REWARD
We do not go to heaven to get our reward, Jesus will bring our reward with Him.
Revelation 22: 12 (Jesus is speaking)
And, behold, I come quickly; and MY REWARD IS WITH ME, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Isaiah 40: 10
Behold the Lord God will come with His strong hand and his arm shall rule for Him: BEHOLD HIS REWARD IS WITH HIM and his work before Him.
